Established in 2018, Mono Visuals is a Sydney-based video production company driven by a passion for storytelling and creative visual communication.
Our name is inspired by the Japanese concept mono no aware — an awareness of the fleeting nature of moments and the emotions that come with them. It reflects the reason we create: to capture moments, ideas and stories that might otherwise pass, and give them a life beyond the moment itself.
Corporate video is at the heart of what we do, from brand stories and company profiles to recruitment, internal communications, social content and campaign films. We also work across a range of industries and productions, bringing the same level of creativity and attention to detail to every project.
In an increasingly crowded digital landscape, simply creating content isn’t enough. We believe great video should capture attention, communicate clearly and leave a lasting impression.

Bernard Lau
Acclaimed for his excellent skills and creative eye as a cinematographer, Bernard produces stunning visuals for his clients. Apart from operating the camera, Bernard is a director and producer of multiple documentaries. Most notably, his film titled "Sea People of Singapore" was commissioned by the Singapore Tourism Board and screened at the Waves of Change Festival.
With the mentality of "no story is too small to tell", Bernard takes pride in telling all stories through exceptional visual content. Not only does he strive to deliver high-quality work for all his clients, he regularly puts out high-quality travel and camera-related videos on his personal youtube channel. He stands by having the right tool for the job and clients can therefore expect that he uses nothing but the best equipment to get the job done.

Joao Couto
João is a photographer with over seven years of experience, specialising in events, commercial campaigns, and corporate photography. He creates impactful, attention-grabbing images that align with each client’s goals, delivering cinematic and polished visuals.
He has collaborated with renowned brands such as Red Bull, Heineken, Merivale, 3M, and Oliver Brown, contributing to projects that enhance brand identity, drive engagement, and, most importantly, increase revenue. João’s diverse portfolio reflects a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of visual impact.
